Andromeda, ‘ruler of men’, is the name of a few things: a galaxy 2.5 million light years away, a woman in a Greek myth who was offered as a sacrifice to a sea monster because her mother boasted about her good looks and a shrub – a really pretty shrub. Not that we’re boasting.
This morning’s orders called for flowers to welcome a new baby, farewell a friend and decorate a cafe, so we thought this pretty shrub, ‘upper secret’ roses, waxflower and blushing bride would do the trick.
We think a sea monster would feel very satisfied with these gorgeous arrangements.
Thankfully, Andromeda was saved by her future hubby before the sea monster could gobble her up! Not that we’re suggesting Anna is like Andromeda, or a ‘ruler of men’ or a sea monster.
